ANDREW ESKOW AGE: 83 PARSIPPANY - TROY HILLS Andrew Eskow, 83, of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ, died Saturday afternoon, December 12, 2009 at Care One, Parsippany, NJ after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Josephine Zukoski, who died June 7, 2004. Andrew was born July 17, 1924 in Great Meadows, NJ to the late Dimitro Eskow and the late Christina Zaprulak. Born in Great Meadows, on Alphano Road and resided for most of his lifetime in Allamuchy and prior to that in Great Meadows, NJ. He retired in 1990 after 33 years of service as a chemical operator for the former Cook Color and Chemical Company in Mansfield Township, NJ. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Great Meadows, NJ. Predeceased by wife, Josephine Zukoski on June 7, 2004. He is survived by sons, Andrew, Jr. of Washington, NJ, Stanley of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Dr. Eugene Eskow of Flemington, NJ, Joseph of Oak Ridge, NJ, Dr. Raymond of Emerson, NJ; daughters, Gloria Eskow of Hackettstown, NJ, and Rose Eskow of Livingston, NJ; sister, Helen Hydash of Great Meadows, NJ; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 10:30am at the funeral home, conducted by Father Peter Zwarych. Interment: Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ. Arrangements by the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High St., Hackettstown (908-852-2420). Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8pm. In lieu of funeral flowers, the family has requested that poinsettia be sent in order to be donated to the Church for Christmas Divine Liturgy.
