Anne Bahnatka Obituary
AGE: 101 • Rockaway Borough
Anne C. Bahnatka died on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Morris View Nursing Home in Morris Twp. She was 101. Born in Kingston, NY, she lived in Rockaway Borough for most of her life.
Mrs. Bahnatka was a homemaker, and a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Rockaway.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Bahnatka, Sr. in 1977, and her son, Paul Bahnatka who also passed away on Oct. 6, 2015.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Bahnatka and his wife Dorothy of Red Hook, NY; her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Bahnatka of Mine Hill; five grandchildren: Leigh, Bryn, Suzanne, Lauren and Kristen; and two great-grandchildren: Kayla and Michael.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 12th at 10AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 425 W. Blackwell St, Dover. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave, Rockaway.

Dear Joseph and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of both your Mother and your brother, Paul. I have so very many fond memories of your Mother. We lived in the house next door on Douglas Rd. until 1979, when we moved our family to Arizona. Your Mother was like a 2nd Grandma to my four sons, Mark, Michael, Matthew and Mitchell Loeffler. Your Mom & Dad would give them treats and babysit quite often. We even bought your Mom's blue Chevelle from her after your Dad's passing. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that they are now resting in heavenly peace.
