Anthony "Tony" DeAngelis

AGE: 88 • Florham Park

Anthony "Tony" DeAngelis, 88 longitme resident of Florham Park, died peacefully March 25, 2013, from cancer, surrounded by family.

Born January 12, 1925 in Madison, he enlisted in the Army in 1943, was a member of the American Legion Post 43 of Madison/Florham Park and a past-president of the Lions Club of Madison. He owned Mikan Motors Chrysler, along with his brother Mike and brother-in-law Anthony Lombardi. He was a founder and co- owner of Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Helen Seling. He is survived by his children, Rosemarie Prisco of Randolph and Anthony Jr. and his wife Karen of Bloomington, Illinois,; seven grandchildren, Lucia, Helen, Mario Jr., Collette, Anthony III, Alyssa and Christina and 11 great-grandchildren, Joey, Brandon, Marissa, Amber, Jeff, Brayden, Liam, Anthony IV, Ella Grace, Bailey, and Maya Lauren; and his sister Rose and her husband Anthony Lombardi of Chatham, his brothers, Bill of Florham Park and Henry and his wife Judy of Florida.

Tony was an avid golfer and enjoyed landscaping and gardening along with winemaking. He loved Florham Park and his shore house in Surf City. Visitation is from 2-4 & 7-9pm Monday April 1, at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main St. Madison. A funeral service will held at 9am on Tuesday April 2, at the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass at 10am at Holy Family Church, 1 Lloyd Avenue, Florham Park. Interment St. Vincent's Cemetery, Madison.

Hi, My Name is Tony DeAngelis and I live in Bloomingdale Illinos. I'm 48 and love the outdoors and wine making myself. I wish I had the opportunity of meeting Your Tony and having a few glass of wine with him. Perhaps in the after life... I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
