Catalina (nee Massari) Mc Donald

AGE: 89 • Elizabeth City, NC

Catalina Mc Donald (nee Massari), 89, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was born and raised in Dover, NJ; moved to Boonton in 1942, then was living in NC for about 2 years. Catalina worked and retired from the Boonton Handbag Factory. She was well known as "Mrs. Mac," she cared and watched many children in the town of Boonton. She was also a member of the Boonton Senior Citizens.

Catalina was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Mc Donald Sr.; loving mother of Richard J. Mc Donald Jr. and his wife Karen, and Thomas Mc Donald; cherished sister of Rose Henry, and Angelina Hoffman; devoted grandmother of Nicholas, John, and Stacey; and also great grandmother of 7. The family would also like to give a special thank you to her loving nieces, Donna, Debbie and Linda.

A memorial funeral service for Catalina will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch St., Boonton, NJ. Visiting will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 from 7 to 9 PM at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St., Boonton, NJ. Letters of condolences may be posted at www.Danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com. Donations may be made in Catalina's name to Boonton Kiwanis, P.O. Box 16, Boonton, NJ 07005.

Tommy,Gary and I are truely sorry for the loss of your mom and a WONDERFUL lady. She was very special to us, (espically me.) over the years her and I had become very close.
