Catherine Cusack Thonus

Morris Plains - Catherine Cusack Thonus, 96, died on April 4, 2018 at her home in Morris Plains, New Jersey. She was known and respected by all for her kindness and generosity.

Catherine was born July 8, 1921 in Paterson, NJ to Bertha and Frank Cusack.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 74 years, Charles Thonus and her loving children, Regina Dowd (Bill), Paul (Robin) and Margerette. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Amie, Charles (Joy) and Paul and great- grandchildren, Lilya, Viola, Jonathon and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her twin sister, Elizabeth Cusack and siblings, Bertrand, Regina, Thomas, Francis, Edward, Joseph, Angela, Robert. Her last sibling, Mary Bouman died on April 6, 2018.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Av., Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927. Arrangements are under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains, NJ.
