Daniel Mills Obituary
AGE: 83 • Andover
Daniel Mills, 83, of Andover, NJ, passed away on Feb. 15, 2013 at Newton Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Daniel was born in Olyphant, PA and served in the United States Air Force mostly in Japan. He moved to NJ in 1950 and settled in Rockaway for 49 years before moving to Andover. In 1954 he started an aluminum siding business specializing in restoration of churches. In 2003, after a fall off a roof he invented the "Hybrid Easy Rider" which was a combination of a wheel chair mounted on a scooter. He could be found motoring around Newton daily. Daniel is survived by his beloved wife Betty; devoted father of Larry Mills and his wife Desiree, daughter Jayne MacQuesten and her husband Michael; grandfather of Justin and his wife Asia and grandson Tyler; brother of Andrew Spolsky of TN and cousin of Eleanor Zito of Morris Plains, NJ. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to: got@woundedwarrior project.org.
