David Milford Darlington

AGE: 34 • formerly of Randolph

David Milford Darlington, 34, of Falls Church, VA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his parents,Tuesday, May 31st, 2011. David was born in Morristown. He has been a resident of Virginia for almost 10 years, moved here from Randolph where he resided his entire life. He worked as an Assistant Editor for the American Historical Association, Washington, D.C., for 10 years

David was a 1995 graduate of Randolph High School. Received his B.A. from Muhlenberg College, PA and his Masters in History from the University of Maryland. He was an Eagle Scout with Troop #50, Randolph.

David is survived by his parents Milford and Barbara of Randolph and his brother Stephen of Basking Ridge.

Visitation Monday, June 6th, 2011, 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (973-366-4267), Randolph, NJ 07869 at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 or the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 319 Quaker Church Road, Randolph, NJ 07869.

My deepest sympathies to Stephen, Mil, and Barbara. David was always one of the good guys, upright and honest. I remember him as solid in his faith and character. I pray that God grants you his comfort and peace as you morn. Praise God for the hope of the resurrection in Jesus Christ!
