hi ted,

just wanted to say happy birthday. i know that everyone is thinking a little more about you today. i had the priveledge of going to dallas with the cheerleaders last week. as you know the girls placed 4th in the parochial division. they were awesome. it was great to see paul vi represented like that. maggie carried the bear your mom gave her everywhere and it is in every picture. the girls pray to you before every competition and it is usually someone different who throws your name in. thanks again and smile on your family today, you know that it is going to be a tough one.

Dear Ted,Tomorrow is your birthday.Twenty years ago you were born.I'm so sorry you aren't here to be with everyone and celebrate your day. We will be thinking of you as always.You are in our hearts forever.There isn't a day that I don't think of you in some way or other. It could be a song on the radio,a commercial on tv with someone named TED,a license plate with your numbers on it,or a simple teddy bear. How you have touched so many lives is a true testament of the young man you became. Ted please watch over your Mom ,Dad and Kate. They need you to keep them going,to get up everyday,to keep your memory alive.Well I guess I should go now Ted. Your Mom told me about this site on the computer the other day and I wasn't sure if I should go on here or not but I feel as though I'm talking to you. And that feels good to think of you as only a computer screen away. I love you and miss you Ted. Happy Birthday honey! I'll send some balloons up to you .xoxo Aunt Maureen

Hi Ted,

It's been 2 years today buddy. I can't believe it, I don't want to believe it. I still think about you all the time, it feels like 100 times a day. Somehow, you're still making me smile. I miss you a lot, especially when it gets close to Christmas and your birthday. I always think about what you would be up to if you were still here, and sometimes I still forget that you are gone. It's gotten easier though, because I know that on some level you are still here with me and everyone else. Its a good feeling having you looking out for me, I just wish I was still able to look out for you. Someday, it can be the same again. I love you Ted, and I just want to live a life that would make you proud to be my brother, because everything you ever did makes me proud to be your sister. You're always with me, Ted, you have a place in my heart forever.

Ted, it'll be a whole year on Thursday. I still remember when they told us in school last year. It doesn't feel like a whole year. Tell Paul I said hey. I need God's help for something, you know what it is. Can you ask Him for me? Watch over me, please, Ted.

November 26, 2002

Ted ... I can't believe it's been so long. You changed my life so much. I know you understand what I'm talking about. I've been having a hard time lately and I ask you to watch over me and help me out. Tell Paul I love him. You two are always gonna be my boys ... put in a good word for me with the Big Guy. We miss you, Teddy.

hi ted,

we had the banquet on sunday and you were so very missed by everyone. you're friends were amazing. you could tell that you were with them the entire time. you're parents were remarkably strong and i know it was hard for them but i also know that they would have been sorry later if they didn't go. mr. larubbio spoke about you first and he did you justice. he had a tough time getting through it but he did good. we gave your parents your jersey and like mr. rubel i expect we'll be seeing your father in it often. the girls gave a pom-pom to your mom and mrs. johnson for being so supportive of them all year and your mom managed a genuine smile. take care of them and your sister it is still so hard for them. you'll forever be in the hearts of your friends, please help them along with some of your humor.

we miss you so much!!!

I miss you alot Tedward. You were one of my brothers on and off the field. I will never forget how much fun you made football. Even when we hit those days we just didnt wanna be there, you always made us laugh. You were fun to practice with, and you made school even better. You were always running down the halls screaming and throwing yourself into people. I will miss that. You will never be forgotten.

Hey Ted,

What's up buddy? I sent in an entry about a week ago but they never put it up in the book so I figured I would write you again. I really miss you a lot buddy. I can remember so many great times with you during last football season(2000). I remember the sleepover over Glaciers when we went to shoprite and where running through the isles screaming " SAPP , JOHN SAPP" cause we knew he worked there and everyone was looking at us like we were crazy. Or driving you home from practice or team dinners with you barely fitting in my car and sticking your head out the window and screaming at people. But my all time greatest Ted Toy memory had to be during camp week when we would a bunch of us would go back to Mason's to eat lunch and sleep before our final practice. Well me and you couldn't sleep so we decided to play a little joke on the rest of the guys. ME and you changed every clock in the house while the others were sleeping to 4:30 because practice was suppose to start at 3. So after all the clocks were set we went back up stairs and woke up everyone and told them we over slept. Everone was running around crazy.. but we finall let them in on the secret haha. It's the times when you made me laugh that I will remember.. I look to you as a brother and all the other guys on the team.. And I'm going to miss you alot man. Keep an eye on everyone up there and tell Drew I miss him alot. Later buddy

In my eyes Ted was the best. The best brother, the best son, the best athlete, the best student... the list could go on forever. Something great could be said for every thing that he has ever done, and I know that just because he is not with us physically does not mean that Ted's greatness will cease to be in our lives. Even though we will always miss him, he is right here. Every time I see a hockey stick or a football helmet, I will see Ted; every time I hear a car engine racing down my street, I will hear Ted; and every time someone laughs, I will think of Ted. He is truly unforgettable. Ted epitomized the phrase, "It's not the years in your life that matter. It's the life in your years." I just wish I had so many more years with him. Sometimes I don't know how I will make it without him, but Ted will see that I get through. I love you, brother.

Ted was loved by SO MANY and don't forget the famous words of the Season...God does not judge us by how much we love, but by how much we are loved by others. I'm sure that means Ted got an A+ !!! Ted & his family will remain in our hearts and prayers!

I read this poem the other day and it reminded me of Ted,

To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children;

To earn the approbation of honest citizens and to endure the betrayal of false friends;

To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one’s self.

To leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition.

To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation and sung with exultation, to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.

This is to have succeeded.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ted you are in my prays every day, watch over your friends and family. I know I will see you again, because every time I hear someone laugh or see someone smile I will see your face.

Dear Toy Family,

I was a friend of Teds at school I think I should share this story with you

THIS A TRUE STORY!

Last night I was coming home from the philly diner. I went to the philly diner after the viewing. Anyways I was traveling home and I got to Evesham rd. I pulled in the left lane and turned my turn signal on. I got the green arrow and went. To my horror I saw a truck half the size of a tractor trailer come right at me. We hit head on. I drive a Cutlass so the impact is somthing that I will never forget. I was able to move out of the car to the outside. I took a look at my car and realized taht I was lucky to be alive. The truck destroyed the drivers side of the car. I dont know how the glass from the winsheild didnt shatter and how i didnt go through the winsheild. I was very shaken. I dont have a bruise or a sratch. My car is completely totaled. But from that moment on I knew Ted was with me. Not many people can walk away from the accident that I just expereienced. Thanks TEd for watching our for me and protecting me. Also thank the Big Guy for me too.
