Edward Trout Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Healey Funeral Home - Haddon Heights on Mar. 1, 2026.
On February 28, 2026, Ed passed away at Cooper Hospital in Camden. Born and raised in Haddon Heights, Ed graduated from Paul VI High School Class of 1981 where he played center on the football team and excelled in baseball. After graduation, Ed worked for his family's filter cleaning business until taking a job with the Camden County Department of Corrections where he worked for over 20 years retiring as a Sergeant.

Ed is the beloved husband of Theresa (nee Aungst). He is the devoted father of Samantha and Gabrielle. He is the loving son of Barbara Bateman Trout and the late, Russell Trout. Ed is also lovingly survived by his sisters, Debra Sloan and Theresa Moser (late, Bob) as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and his aunt, Patricia Carty. He will always be remembered for his strength, kindness, and humor. There are so many ways that Ed''s life impacted his family and friends that no amount of words would do justice to him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, March 7th from 8:00 - 11:00 AM at the Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights where his Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Gift of Life Donor Program at https://www.donors1.org/give-to-gift-of-life/
