Loving Wife & Mother

Eleanor D. DeKasar, (nee Stewart), 82, passed peacefully at her home in Whippany on May 14, 2016.

Born and raised in Kearny, NJ, a graduate of Queen of Peace High School, she has lived in Whippany for over 50 years. Eleanor was an active member of the Florham Park Players for many years. She had various secretarial jobs, retiring in 1999 as Secretary of the East Hanover Fire Prevention Bureau.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. DeKasar, her daughter, Christine, and Son in Law, Erin Humiston. Eleanor deeply loved her nieces, nephews and their children, her neighbors and friends.

A private Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at a later date. Condolences in the form of donations in Eleanor's name may be made to: Mt.
