Janet Quackenbush

AGE: 83 •

On July 30, 2015, Janet (Peg) Quackenbush (Davis), 83, passed away quietly with her husband, Joseph, and family by her side. She is now at peace with her mother, Consuelo and her brother, Eddie.

Janet is survived by her husband, Joe, and her four children: Christine Carey, Joey Quackenbush, Connie Quackenbush, and Cynthia Viens. Her six grandchildren: Kristen, PJ, Alex, Danielle, Kirstie, and Jane, and her four great grandchildren will miss their "NanPeg."

In addition to being a long time employee at Bell Laboratories, Janet enjoyed volunteering with Hospice and the Bell Labs' Pioneers where she taught English as a second language and worked with elementary school children. Her life pleasures were spending time with family and friends and making her home a warm and welcoming place. Someone once wrote,"For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains." This is true of Janet.

An eleven-thirty memorial mass will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Saint Virgil's Parish located at 250 Speedwell Ave. in Morris Plains, NJ, followed by a reception in their home at 5 Bahama Road, Morris Plains.
