Janet T. Moroz

84, great-grandmother
GREAT MEADOWS -- Janet T. Moroz died on Wednesday morning, Nov. 19, 2008, at Overlook Hospital, in Summit, following a long illness. She was 84.
She was born on Nov. 24, 1923, in Newark, to the late Joseph Krynicka and the late Ksienia Czubata. She came to Great Meadows, in 1957, and lived there ever since. Mrs. Moroz was one of nine children born to her parents; something she was very proud of. She enjoyed working for many years for the Godlewski Family Farms as a salesperson, and it was one of her greatest pleasures.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, in Great Meadows, and a member of their Rosary Society. She was also a member of Blue Army Cell Group; and made Rosaries donated to various mission groups around the world, as she was very devoted to the Blessed Mother. Her devotion to her family and church were her life's passion.
She is predeceased by her husband, Walter on Aug. 2, 1987; and a grandchild, Kevin Mosner.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Moroz, and Walter Moroz; daughters, Linda and her husband, Kirk Higgs, Gail and he husband, Frank McMahon, Donna and her husband, Brad Martka; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and lifetime friends.
The funeral will be at Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, in Great Meadows, on Saturday, Nov. 22, with a Mass at 10 a.m. conducted by Father Ted. Interment will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, in Great Meadows. Arrangements are by the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J., (908) 852-2420. Friends may call on Friday, from 4-8 p.m.
