Jeffrey Fuchs Obituary

JEFFREY "JEFF" ALBERT FUCHS AGE: 60 FORMERLY OF DENVILLE Jeffrey "Jeff" Albert Fuchs, 60, a long time resident of Denville, departed this life on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at his home in McGaheysville, VA, after a brief illness with cancer. Mr. Fuchs was born on January 18, 1949 in Jersey City and was a son of the late Albert and Helen Ayers Fuchs. He recently retired to Virginia with his fiancé. Jeff was employed at Eastern Concrete in Mine Hill for 17 years and previously at RZ Roofing in Cedar Knolls for over 20 years. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his beloved cat, Puddy. Surviving family included two daughters, April M. Fuchs and partner, Blair of Valley Stream, NY and Renee F. Petrillo of Rockaway; a grandson, Tommy Petrillo of Rockaway; a sister, Linda Gordon of Byram Township; a brother, Ronnie Fuchs of Florida; his fiancé, Sandra M. Behlivanis of McGaheysville, VA; and a niece and nephew. A private memorial service was held at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg, VA, and burial will be private at a later date. Expressions of sympathy through memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 2815 North Augusta St. Ste. C., Staunton, VA 24401.
