John Tyrone Obituary

John W. Tyrone, Jr.

AGE: 81 • Madison

John W. Tyrone, Jr., formerly of Madison, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2017 in Seminole, FL. He was 81.

John was born and raised in Madison. He graduated from Bayley-Ellard High School and Newark College of Engineering, later joining the ROTC. John served honorably in the US Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant, where he worked on the first communication satellite, Telestar. John was employed by Honeywell for several years before becoming a self-employed real estate investor.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Coleen Griffin Tyrone, his parents Katherine and John Tyrone, Sr., and one brother, Richard Tyrone. He leaves behind two sons, Dr. John Tyrone IV of Gainesville, FL, and his wife Cheryl, and Jeffrey Tyrone of St. Petersburg, FL; one daughter, Deborah Tyrone of Orlando, FL; one brother, Andrew, and his wife Marie, two sisters, Kathy and Pat Tyrone of Madison; one sister-in-law, Betty, wife of his late brother, Richard, two granddaughters, Katie and Cami, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all.

A Memorial Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Vincent Martyr RC Church, Madison. Interment to follow at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Madison. Arrangements are under the direction of the Madison Memorial Home.
