Joseph A. Chiarolanzio

AGE: 63 • Madison

Joseph A. Chiarolanzio, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Morristown, Joseph was a long-time resident of both Madison and Florham Park. He was the co-owner of Romanelli's Italian Eatery in Madison for over 40 years, along with his brother-in-law, Domenick Romanelli. Joseph was also a life-long parishioner of St. Vincent Martyr RC Church in Madison.

Joseph was predeceased by his father, Joseph N. Chiarolanzio, and his two brothers, John and Michael Chiarolanzio. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Lou Chiarolanzio (nee Romanelli) of Florham Park; his loving mother, Aurora Chiarolanzio (nee Marelli) of Florham Park; one son, Joseph Chiarolanzio of Florham Park, and his wife Jessica; two daughters, Melissa Chiarolanzio of Denville, and her boyfriend, Michael Stashluk, and Andrea Austin of Morris Plains, and her husband Paul; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin at 9:00AM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison followed by a 10:00AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Vincent Martyr RC Church, Madison. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 4:00PM to 9:00PM on Friday at the funeral home.
