Margaret Bruen Obituary
Morristown
Margaret Bruen passed away peacefully after a short illness on April 17 at Morristown Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family and a compassionate hospital community. "Peggy" was born in Elizabeth, NJ, grew up in Morristown and married her grammar school sweetheart, Bill, in 1950. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was a member of the New Vernon Presbyterian Church and enjoyed preparing meals for the Community Soup Kitchen for years.
She was a member (and past secretary and treasurer) of The Home Garden Club of Morristown, the Current News Club, the Harding Township Library Committee, the Board of the Friends of the Morristown/Morris Township Public Library, the Historical Society of Morris County, the Fosterfields Association, the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, and the Women's Association of Morristown Medical Center. She attended Morristown High School and Bucknell University.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, William, her son William Jr. (Susan), her grandsons William III, and Andrew(Catherine), and her great granddaughter Ella Rose.

Many have experienced the toll sickness can take on someone we care about. As if that is not bad enough, death comes along and takes the person away. Others may not fully understand our inner feelings – our “own plague' and our “own pain.” (Proverbs 14:10) But God knows our heart, and He deeply cares about us. Pouring out our heart to Him in prayer can make our burdens easier to bear. God is the “Hearer of Prayer”. (Psalm 65:2) Take comfort in knowing God can sustain you at this difficult time.
