AGE: 47 • Rockaway Twp.
Matthew Patrick Bianchi died on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. He was 47. Born in Teaneck, he resided in Rockaway Twp. for the last 10 years.
Matt was an Environmental Specialist with Chugach Industries. He was a soccer coach for the Rockaway Twp. Sharks and also a soccer referee.
He was predeceased by his mother, Lucille T. Bianchi in 2009 and a brother Mark. He was a loving father survived by his children Alexandra and Patrick; his partner Ann Marie Bilza and her children Sarah and Justin Bilza; his father George Bianchi, a sister Deborah (& Michael) Sinatra; two brothers George (& Christine) Bianchi and Victor (& Joni) Bianchi; and nieces and nephews: Michael, Mark, Matthew, Noah, Isabella, Victoria and George.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 2nd from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Whitham - Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave, Rockaway.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the educational benefit of Matt's children to: Ally-Pat Education Fund Association, c/o Law Offices of Michael P. Sinatra, LLC, 433 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009.

So very sad to learn about this. I worked with Matt years ago at BEM Systems, and remember him as always being kind and low key. Way too young to die. My heartfelt condolences to Christine Bianchi and their two beautiful children. Be at peace, Matt. And give my best to Ed Rogers, Dot Fisher, and Don Vizzone too.

When hearing of Matt's circumstance the very first thing that popped into my memory was his being part adult part kid. I remember our families visiting together at their lake house and Matt being young enough to be so involved with ours and all of the other little kids and then just join in with us that were older than him in such a cool way.
What a terrific wonderful person! I know our entire family will miss him. God bless to him and everyone that he was so important to.
