Peter Cipparulo, Jr., 85, of Morris Plains, passed away on March 11, 2016. Born in Bernardsville, Peter resided in Morristown before he moved to Morris Plains 53 years ago. Peter graduated from Bernardsville High School in 1948. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Corporeal during the Korean War. Peter worked as a Painter/Tradesman for the International Brotherhood of Painters & Allied Trades Union Local #480 for 40 years, until he retired in 1993. He was also a member of St. Virgil's Church in Morris Plains. In his free time, He was an avid gardener and Yankees fan, Peter loved to spend time with his family, the Morris Plains Seniors, and the VA.

Peter is survived by his loving wife, Jean; and his devoted sons, Peter Cipparulo, III, and his wife, Pamela, of Hillsborough, and Richard Cipparulo, of Cedar Knolls. He is also survived by his beloved siblings, Rosalie Pigna, Josephine Marple, Barbara Meehan, and Sandra Swift, and her husband, Bill; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Julia, Marie Grace, and Peter Cipparulo; and 21 adored nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his brother, Alex Cipparulo.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Peter will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Virgil's Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morris Township.
