Richard Finelli Obituary
AGE: 23 • formerly of Whippany
Richard L. "Ricky" Finelli, 23, of Saylorsburg and formerly of Whippany, NJ passed away on Thursday, July 28 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Summit, NJ he was a son of William and Christine (Cox) Finelli of Saylorsburg. A 2010 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, he had worked at the Walmart Distribution Center in Tobyhanna. A two wheel enthusiast, Ricky had a love of motorcycles and he raced motocross. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert.
In addition to his parents, Ricky is survived by a brother, Nicholas Finelli and his fiancé' Kaiti Sassano of Huntersville, NC and grandparents, Virginia Cox of Spring Lake, NJ and Louise Finelli of Madison, NJ. Ricky is also survived by his fiancé' Brittany Angelica.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 1 from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Quinnan as celebrant. Cremation will follow in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 31 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, P.O. Box 38 Brodheadsville, PA 18322. www.kresgefuneralhome.com
