Robert Ofner Obituary
AGE: 94 • Rockaway
Robert L. Ofner, 94, a longtime Rockaway resident, passed away on June 8, 2011. He was born in East Orange he has lived in the area for 45 years owning the Easy Method Driving School. He was an Army veteran of World War II and an avid motorcyclist who rode until the age of 85.
He is predeceased by his wife of almost 50 years, the late Joan (Wandless). He is survived by a son, Robert A. (Karen) Ofner and daughter, Deborah (Jerry) Smith and his grandchildren, Dara and Joshua Ofner and Amanda and Dillon Smith.
Graveside services will be held Monday June 13 at 12:30 at Somerset Hills Memorial Park. The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association GREATER NEW JERSEY CHAPTER. Arrangements by Gutterman Bros., Lake Hiawatha 1-866-473-3700.

Many years ago, I was the paperboy for the Ofners. I lived on Seminole Ave. Also. They were nice folks. My sympathy goes out to the family.
