Vincent Bitter Obituary

VINCENT BITTER JR. AGE: 84 CONVENT STATION Vincent Bitter Jr., 84, of Convent Station, passed away peacefully on Jan. 23, 2009. Vincent was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Convent Station, NJ since 1963. He graduated with a Bachelors of Naval Science from the University of Notre Dame prior to earning his M.B.A at Harvard Business School. Vincent worked many years as a C.P.A for Rayonier in Whippany and for Mennen and Carteret Savings Bank for several years before retiring. He also was a U.S Navy WWII Veteran. Beloved husband, of the late Ann Margaret Bitter (nee: Taylor); Devoted father of, Amy Farber, Stephen Bitter, Katherine Costantino & her husband Anthony; Loving grandfather of, Leighann Farber, Kristen Worch, Kelsey Bitter & Kevin Bitter; Great-grandfather of, Grace Worch. Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Thursday from 5-8pm. Funeral mass on Friday at Christ the King Church in New Vernon at 10am.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Church 16 Blue Mill Road, New Vernon, NJ 07976.
