Vincent Chirico Obituary
The heavens opened to welcome a hero. On Sunday, December 6, 2020, retired Madison Police Chief Vincent D. Chirico died peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side after a valiant eight-month battle with a COVID-19 related illness. Vinnie joined the Madison Police Department in 1969 and retired after 39 years of dedicated service to the community. Visitation will be held at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison on Thursday from 7-9PM and on Friday from 3-5PM & 7-9PM. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00AM at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison. Interment will be held at Gate of Heaven East Hanover.
