Celeste R. Buzby

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Celeste R. Buzby, age 65, of Ledgewood, New Jersey. Celeste departed this life peacefully at Pine Acres Nursing Home in Madison, New Jersey on March 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
Born in West Islip, New York, Celeste was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Ilse Granuzzo and spent her formative years in Deer Park, New York. For more than two decades, she called Ledgewood her home, where she was known for her warmth, generosity, and welcoming spirit.
Her love for Disney and her talent for entertaining brought joy to those around her. Celeste delighted friends and family with cards and thoughtful gifts all year round. Every day was an occasion to celebrate with passion and creativity. Although she was a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Celeste chose to spend many years as a devoted caregiver to her father, who is now in his nineties. Her free spirit, unique sense of style, and unwavering determination allowed her to live life fully and on her own terms.
Celeste was predeceased by her beloved mother, Ilse Granuzzo.
She is survived by her father, Joseph Granuzzo; two brothers, Mark Granuzzo and Joseph Granuzzo (Janet); nephew Mathew Granuzzo, niece Lydia Granuzzo, and great nephew Samuel Granuzzo. Celeste's legacy of selfless generosity and loving kindness lives on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
A celebration of Celeste's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org in her honor.
