Vincent P. O'Neill

VINCENT P. O'NEILL AGE: 73 MADISON Vincent P. O'Neill, 73, died March 6, 2010. Mr. O'Neill was born in Plainfield and grew up in North Plainfield before moving to Madison in 1982. He was employed as a stock broker for over 40 years, retiring in 2008 from RBC Dain Company of Florham Park. A graduate of Seton Hall University with a BS degree in Business Administration and after graduation Mr. O'Neill served in the US Army Reserves. A life time member of the Morristown Field Club where he was an unstoppable force on the courts and later a member of the Madison Golf Club where he continued his formidable tennis swing reluctantly at the game of golf. Surviving are his wife, Robin O'Neill and his children Charles Vincent O'Neill, wife Stacy, Vincent Owen O'Neill and Christina O'Neill Scherzer. Also surviving are his granddaughters, Zoe, Sophia and Lindsay and brother Lawrence O'Neill. His two other brothers John and Dennis predeceased him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 am on Wednesday, March 10 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 35 Mountain Ave., Somerville. Visiting hours are from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Tuesday, March 9 at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville.
