Lee Bower Obituary

Lee Edward Bower, 66, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 12, 2018 after a difficult battle with cancer. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Lee was born on November 27, 1951 in Galesburg, Illinois to Leo & Patricia (Brunkow) Bower. He grew up in Galesburg until the age of 10 before his family moved to Granite Falls, Washington. He spent time between Galesburg and Granite Falls until 1969 when he settled permanently in Washington and graduated high school.
Lee met Kathleen McMeeken in the early summer of 1976 and the couple married on October 2, 1976. They made their home in Lake Stevens and raised two children - Michael and Cindy. During that time, Lee worked at the Boeing plant in Everett where he worked for nearly 28 years before he and Kathleen moved to Ellensburg in 2002. In Ellensburg, Lee was a bus driver for the Ellensburg School District.
Lee loved fishing, hunting, camping, riding his Harley and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen, and his mother, Patricia.
Lee is survived by his son Michael (Jamie) Bower and their children Andre, Mikayla, Sasha, Ava, Aiden of Lake Stevens, Wash.; daughter Cindy (Jeff) Ramsey and their children Whitney and Bradley of Ellensburg; sister Rose Anglin and father Leo Bower, both of Coulee City, Wash. as well as many nieces and nephews and many close family and friends.
