Timothy Graham Obituary
4/22/53 - 1/14/13
Timothy Jason Graham was born April 22nd, 1953 in the old Kirkland Hospital in Kirkland, WA to Jackie William Graham and Julia (Judy) Anne (Brummett) Graham. He was the second of four children: Michael, Timothy, Daniel, and Lorie, and lived a very fulfilling and wonderful life. At age seven he started working with his Dad at their Texaco station, pumping gas and learning mechanics. He was always an entrepreneur and started backing boats into the water in Kirkland at age 10 for 25 cents. His driving ability was amazing at an early age. He also played in the Bellevue Philharmonic Children's Orchestra, raced 10 speeds, rode his horse, fixed cars on the side, swam on a team, and loved spending summers with his Grandma and Grandpa Shipley in Idaho. The sense of pride and confidence in himself and for his family was always evident.
He met the love of his life, Anna Elizabeth (Hogenhout) Graham, and they were married on February 23rd, 1973. His life completely focused on their growing family. Together they raised five beautiful children: Julia, Christopher, Charity, Matthew, and Lucas. He spent every waking minute with his wife and children. They were his joy in life. He enjoyed simply being together, working in the shop, camping at Fish Lake, shooting targets, hunting, going over homework...even his hobbies included his children. He taught his boys the mechanic trade, working daily on projects, and had his son Chris working by his side in the construction business that he had for years. Timothy was always self-employed and a true entrepreneur. He hauled horses nationally, sold hay, was in construction, a mechanic, and helped his children get a head start in life. He and Anna instilled the value of hard work, integrity, and confidence in their children. His legacy truly lives on.
The time he spent with his family is the gift he leaves behind. Not only did he teach his children and grandchildren the value of hard work and honesty, but he treasured being with them. He was a great listener and gentle giver of advice. He loved and admired his sons-in-law, Jason and Darren, and his daughters-in-law, Angie and Dani. He touched so many lives and impacted many along the way. He leaves behind not only his loved ones, but people he considered family and his "own."
Timothy Jason Graham is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anna, his five children, 11 grandchildren, his sister and brother, mother, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie William Graham and brother, Daniel Matthew Graham.
