Harold D. Dodds

1918 - 2014

Dodds, Harold D.; age 96; of Oxford; February 2, 1918; June 19, 2014. Preceded in death by Hattie, his loving wife of 43 years; five brothers; and one sister. Survived by his son, Jerry and special helper Gail; and grand daughter Kim (Jim) Schywstell of Pennsylvania. Harold was an Oxford Police Officer from 1949-1954 and retired from Oxford School System as custodian after 16 years. He was also a veteran of the Navy, a volunteer fireman for the Oxford Fire Department for 41 years, and a lifetime member of the Oxford Masonic Lodge. He will be sadly missed by family, many friends and neighbors. Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford, MI 48371, Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. Pastor Bob Service will be officiating. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery, Oxford.
