Delavan, WI - In Loving Memory of Jake Jarzynski
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Norbert James "Jake" Jarzynski, 53 years old, on February 6, 2025. Born on September 3, 1971, Jake was a beloved father, son, brother, partner, and an incredible friend to many. Jake was known for his kindness, humility, intelligence, love of learning and wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed movies, spending time with friends and family and watching the Chicago Bears and Cubs with his father and his son. Jake had many hobbies including fishing, weightlifting, gaming, and shooting. Jake graduated from Fort Atkinson High School where he played football. He had a great love of music playing the trumpet, trombone, and tuba in concert band, jazz band and marching band. Jake continued to play music well into adulthood contributing as a bass player to several rock bands. Jake graduated from UW-Whitewater with Physics and Math degrees, held a Six Sigma certification, and with the help of friends, taught himself to speak Spanish. He had a career in various leadership positions in manufacturing and engineering where he consistently helped both the organizations and all the people in them be successful.
Jake is survived by: His loving parents, Trish and Norb Jarzynski; his son, Jake Jarzynski; the mother of his son and ex-wife, Lori Jarzynski , Tina Quintero Ramirez, whom he loved as his wife, her son Alejandro Ramirez, his two sisters, Mara Kachelski (David) and their children: Anastasia and Carrie Kachelski; Laura Lorenz (Joe) and their children: Luke, Matthew, Liam and Sophia Lorenz. Jake was preceded in death by his grandparents Norbert and Caroline Jarzynski and Mary Patricia and Edwin Stabler.
Visitation time to honor Jake will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Milton from 9am to 11am with a short service at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Department of Natural Resources or the Milwaukee Humane Society.
Jake was always willing to help people, both in his personal and professional life. He had an infectious laugh, an endearing smile, and a thoughtful soul. He truly touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Jake will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in his son and in the hearts of all those who loved him. The Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Milton is assisting the family with arrangements.
