OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA for Lance Christopher Gordon, 25, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 18, 2015.
Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Pastor Jaison Mangalath, S.V.D. will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.
Lance is survived by his parents, Allen Gordon, Jr. and Melissa Frilot Gordon of Opelousas, LA; a sister, Nichole Gordon Miller (Dustin) of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Malaiah and Rhea Gordon; maternal grandparents, Leopold and Clara Frilot of Frilot Cove, LA; mother of his children, Natalie Lemelle of Leonville, LA; a special friend, Krystle Batiste of Lawtell, LA; one niece, Taylor, one godson Samuel "Tre" Coleman III, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Lance was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Allen Gordon, Sr. and Ruby Garrett Gordon.
The family requests visiting hours be observed from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA. A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Jerome Collins at 9:00 AM.
