OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, in Opelousas, LA., for Ms. Marie Louvenia C. Reynaud, 96, who entered eternal rest, Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Opelousas General Health System, in Opelousas, LA.
Interment will be in St. Landry Catholic Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Stanley Jawa, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial.
Ms. Reynaud is survived by her son, Lloyd Reynaud, Sr. of Opelousas, LA.; one brother, Simon Carron of Opelousas, LA.; three sisters, Louella Collins of Houston, TX., Wilda Manuel and Annie Hooper both of Opelousas, LA.; 19 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Ms. Reynaud was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney & Odenia Carron; her beloved husband of 70 years, Vivian Saka Reynaud; sons, Curtis Reynaud, Sr. and Sidney Reynaud, Sr.; a daughter, Vivian Reynaud Daugherty; brothers, Alex Carron, Wilton Carron, Leroy Carron and Raphael Carron.
Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA.
