LEONVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mark Guidroz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012 at St. Leo Catholic Church in Leonville, LA, followed by the Rite of Committal in the Church Cemetery. The Reverend Ken Domingue will Celebrate the Mass.

Mr. Guidroz, age 52, a resident of Leonville, LA died on Friday, November 30, 2012, at his residence.

Mark was in the jewelry business since he was 18 years old and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his mother, Eula Mae Guidroz, of Leonville, LA; the mother of children, Vicky Stelly Guidroz, of Opelousas, LA; his son, Woody Guidroz, of Leonville, LA; his daughter, Jill Guidroz, of Leonville, LA; his brother, David Guidroz and wife, Pam, of Leonville, LA; his sister, Madelyn Stelly and husband, Mike, of Leonville, LA; Cheryl Benoit of Arnaudville, LA and Rachel Melancon and husband, Steve, of Leonville, LA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Guidroz; his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Azilda Deranger and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Guidroz.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Sunday, December 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Pallbearers will be David Guidroz, Stanley Leger, Greg Wyble, Jason Benoit, William Herpin, Woody Guidroz, and honorary pallbearers will be Danny Deranger, Jude Thibodeaux, Alvin Stelly and Vicky Guidroz.
