Melville - Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Myrtle Ray Circello at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at St. John's Catholic Church in Melville, LA. Father Stephen Ugwu will officiate the service. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Melville, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Melville. A Rosary will be prayed on 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening in the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the funeral home from 8:00am until 12:30 p.m.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mrs. Myrtle Ray Circello, age 94, on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in Baton Rouge. She was a native of Krotz Springs, LA, and a longtime resident of Melville, LA, and was currently residing in Baton Rouge. Myrtle was an active parishioner at St. John's Catholic Church. For many years she was also a cafeteria manager at Melville High School. She looked to cook and enjoyed the healthy activity of walking. Myrtle was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Myrtle is survived by her son, Steve Circello and wife, Deborah of Baton Rouge, LA; and her step-grandchildren, Troy Heil of Baton Rouge; and Cameron Heil of Memphis, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Circello, Sr.; parents, Willis Ray and Ocallie Thomassee Ray; son, Carlo W. Circello and his wife, Susan Circello; brothers, Johnny Ray, Sr. and Raymond Ray; and sisters, Alice Wisdom, Mary Bourgeois and Ruth Crousillac.
