Tammy Pickett Obituary
GRAND PRAIRIE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Tammy Pickett the former Tammy Vidrine, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Grand Prairie, LA. Reverend Jared Suire will conduct the services. Rite of Commital will be held in the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
Tammy, age 34, died on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Opelousas General Health System.
Tammy was an animal lover who had a beautiful way with her pets. She enjoyed playing games on the computer and spending time outdoors. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. Ira and Mrs. Loraine Vidrine of Grand Prairie, LA; her son, Mark Kersey Pickett of Lawtell, LA; her brothers, Frank Fontenot of Mamou, LA, Joey Fontenot of Vidrine, LA, Donald Fontenot of Lafayette, LA; and her sister Kaye Vidrine of Grand Prairie, LA.
The family has requested visitation be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
