It's been so many years, but Tomaso Grande remains as vivid as if it were yesterday. So full of life! Taking in all in, and giving it all out! Just incredible, and just the best! But, as I said to Brian Clark, I hope he mailed in his ballot! Missing NYC, for me, is missing Tomaso Grande! He was a special friend, as is his family. Love, hugs, tears to all, Cynthia

The end of an era. TW was a Renaissance man--a chef, restauranteur, artist, golfer, conversationalist, WWII veteran, dancer, style-meister. He did it all and lived the life of ten men. Godspeed, TW.

My thoughts and prayers reach out to the White family..Tecla,Tommy Jr,Conrad and Nichole, In loving memory of Tom White Sr...,,a very kind man who had the zest of life.. A man who always treated me like one of his own with the utmost of kindness and respect as a wandering kid in the neighborhood..He knew more about my family than I did and shared many stories with me .. I loved every minute of it...He would always stop doing what ever he was doing to chat with me...and give me a good pep talk.. He always wanted to know that I was ok,,..He was a man that truly cared about me in all aspects of my life.. He knew me well and always wanted the best for me..Its fair to say that I looked up to him as a father figure,,and he knew it,,and I think he even liked it.. He showed me love,,,lots of it..One must love him for that.. May he rest in peace and may God Bless him !!
Respectfully,
Bobby Keating

All my prayers and thoughts are with the White family. I do not recall personally meeting your father but I have heard through family and friends that he was a true gentleman and a one-of-a-kind person of great character who will be sorely missed. He certainly left this legacy with his wonderful children. I hope that your beautiful memories of your father carry you through this difficult time and bring a smile to your face. God bless.

Always after sitting and chatting it up with Tom Sr. did I walk away with something - He was one of those guys that cut to the chase on so many topics. Always had the utmost respect - and was all ears when he would come out with that phrase " Let me tell ya something" .. You'll be missed Mr. W.
