News Death Notice
WOOD, Albert "Bud" Age 76, born February 19, 1940, devoted husband and father, departed this life unexpectedly July 8, 2016. He was raised in Hamilton, Ohio and graduated from Hamilton City Schools. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps. Preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Wood; parents, Roy and Beulah (Hammond) Wood; twin brother, Alfred "Doc" Wood; sister, Jonnie Ruth Gray. He leaves to mourn his passing, daughter, Dawn (RaChaun) Martin; sons, Craig Wood, Terry (Tasha) Hubbard; sisters, JoNell Robinson, Gloria Frierson, Michelle Wood; uncles, James and Andrew Thompson; sister-in-law, Felma Wood; grandchildren, Ryan, Michelle, Craig, Dominique H., Dominique W., Jade and Danielle W., Honor, Ramiro and Isaiah Martin; Goddaughter, Teisa Lacy Williams; great grandchildren, Malaya and Justiss; fiancée, Willa Shafeek; and many friends. Homegoing service will be held 1 pm Friday, July 15, 2016 at Canaan M. B. Church, 5191 Hoover Ave. Rev. Dr. Joseph L. Coleman, Sr. officiating. Entombment Woodland Mausoleum. Visitation 10 am-1 pm. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave.

We send our condolences, sympathy and regards to you and your family during this time of mourning and as well a time of joy as your Father has departed this life and yet begins a new journey in another. We know that he must have been a good man as we see his reflection and the things he stood for in both you and your family.
