News Death Notice
ORTH, Alice Age 84, of Dayton, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010, at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry B. Garries & her second husband, Allen Orth. Alice is survived by four children, Henry Ann Elliott, James C., William L. & Emery R. Garries; numerous grandchildren, great grand children & great great grandchildren; sisters, Helen, Esther & Lucy; brothers, Ewell, Henry & Johnny; and by her extended family & many good friends. Visitation 5:00 8:00, Monday (1/11) at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Victory Hill Church of God, 6887 W. Third St., Dayton.
