On this past Thursday, The Riverdale Optimist Club had a speaker from the Miami Valley Military Museum and were surprised to learn that Al and his brother had donated many items including their uniforms to the Museum. In honor and memory of Al, we have donated $500 to support the museum.

During the short time I worked with him, I always found Al to be a kind, knowledgeable, and helpful gentleman.

I was a Vendor at Treasure Aisles for over 20 years now at Caesar Creek for a year now. Every time Al & Lou would show up at Treasure Aisles, they would walk the Aisles and stop and talk to some of the Vendor. I was one they would stop and talk to me over the years I was there (Bully's Vinyl Sign Shop) Both very nice people. Rest well and peacefully.

I have such fond memories of Allen. He and my father, Joe Ritter were friends in their youth and I remember sweet stories of this very special man. My condolences to all the family.

Al was a long time member and/or supporter of the Riverdale Optimist Club. He was a great man who never uttered a negative word and always had his hand out to shake a member's hand. Al will be missed in many ways.

It was an honor and privilege to be one of the caregivers assigned to Al´s care. Al was a brilliant, sharp-witted and independent gentleman, who loved his work, empowering others, trips to Whole Foods and following the stock market trends. Al´s generosity has left a positive mark in society and a lasting impression for generations to come.
