News Death Notice

TRISSELL, Anthony S. Age 16 of Butler Township, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 16, 2016. He was born December 17, 1999 to Stanley and Susan Trissell. Anthony was a sophomore at Vandalia-Butler High School, a well-known, DnD Dungeon Master, and one of only two snare drummers in his beloved marching band. He is survived by his parents, his brother, Terry Trissell of Cincinnati, his sisters, Kim Erwin and Mary Trissell of Troy, OH; his grandmothers, Marie Trissell and Thelma Aileen Karg of Friendship Village in Trotwood; 2 nephews, Zachariah and Braedon Erwin of Troy; 3 nieces, Erica Trissell and Kailyn Hatfield of Troy, and Jordan Trissell of Miamisburg, and a great niece, Avery Ferguson of Troy. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Anthony's life at 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 21 at the Christian Life Center, 3489 Little York Rd., Dayton, OH, with Rev. Michael Malcosky officiating. Private burial will be held for the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Anthony Trissell Memorial Fund," and will be accepted at any Key Bank location.
