ATHANASIA ZOIS Obituary

ZOIS, Athanasia "Sia" P.

Age 90 of Oakwood, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 11, 2021, at her residence. Sia was born August 18, 1930, in the Greek village of Alea. Along with her late husband, Pete, and

three children, in 1973 she immigrated to Ohio. Sia was

a devout member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and proud to participate in the Alea Society.

Sia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Panagiotis "Pete," her parents, in-laws, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, Jim (Voula) Zois, Kathy (George) Kordalis, and George (Cathy) Zois; grandchildren, Pete (Claire) Zois, Sia (Yianni) Googas, Kiriakos (Kasey) Kordalis, John (Kaitlyn) Kordalis, Athena (Jesse) Solomon, Fotoula (Justin) Guedel, Sia Zois and Elena Zois;

and great-grandchildren, James, Theodore, Eoanna, Hugh, Katerina, Pano, Robert, Georgia, Stavros and William. She is also survived by her brother Anastasios Tsiros and sister-in-law Katerina Tsiros, both of Greece, her brother-in-law Bill (Sia) Zois of Oakwood and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from all over the world.

Funeral services will be at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Dayton. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Sia's memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Home, North Main St. Chapel.
