News Death Notice
ADAMS, Barbara L. (Mayfield) age 73 of Dayton, passed away July 31, 2013 after battling a brief illness. Barb was employed for 34 years at The Montgomery County Department of Human Services in the area of Staff Development and a member of Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Born in Danville, KY to the late Fred & Evelyn Mayfield. She is survived by her husband Edward, siblings Johelen (Donald) Davis, Martha (Errol) Hanna, Patricia (Gordon) Benning, Norma (Terry) Bruce, James (Pat) Mayfield, Kenneth Mayfield and Rita (Ike) Kinley. Children Sharon Harlin, Tracy (Nelson) Dawkins, Edward (Chella) Adams, Kelly Adams and Amy (Drew) Dennis. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at 11am at Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church 1501 West Martin Luther King Way Dayton, OH 45402. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to HH Roberts Funeral Home 38 S. Gettysburg Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45417.

I really enjoyed all the years I was able to work with Barbara ! She was such a sweet lady and will be greatly missed. Barbara Always had a pleasant smile and was soft spoken.
