TYRRELL, Betty J. 61, of Dayton, passed away Saturday March 22, 2008. Betty was born in Zanesville, OH on November 19, 1946. She is a 1965 graduate of Northridge High School. Preceded in death by her first husband, Woolery L. "Dub" Smith & her twin brother, Robert Thomas. Survived by her beloved husband, Kurt Tyrrell; 2 sons & daughter-in-law, Douglas & Dawn Smith, Todd Smith; step children & spouses, Chris & Susan Tyrrell, Lisa & Mike McCoy, Jenny Tyrrell; mother-in-law, Jean Tyrrell; 3 grandchildren, Alexander, Joshua & Ashley; step grandchildren, Chris, Evan, Daniel & Jack; sister, Phyllis Thomas. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel", 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Interment Valley View Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior (12p-1p) to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.georgecmartinfuneralhome.com.
