I met Bryan when we were both new hires at Young & Rubicam in Detroit in the mid 90's. We became friends and housemates for a short time. He was an ambitious, kind-hearted and funny guy, with an infectious laugh. His love of cars was second only to the love for his family in Ohio. I remember that he would wash his car frequently, often detailing the wheels with a toothbrush. We were both in our high-school marching bands and both enjoyed the same 80's music. I regret that we lost touch over the years, and am saddened to learn of his passing of nearly three years ago. My condolences to Bryan's mother and sister (who I met when they came to visit) and to everyone who loved and cared about him.
Rest in peace, my long-lost friend.
