News Death Notice

PRATER, Carl Edward age 61 of Union, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Carl was working in maintenance for Trotwood City Schools. He was a veteran of Vietnam having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife: Joyce Ann (Savely) Prater, son: Michael (Connie Dwyer) Prater of Union, daughter: Heather (Paul Hutchinson) Prater of Lewisburg, sisters: Sandy (Cliff) Henry of Dayton, Betty Prater of KY, Delores (Phil) Fugate of Beavercreek, grandchildren: Seth, Aubrey, Quinten, Sterling, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Reva (Barnett) Prater. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
