Carolyn GREINER

1932 - 2017

GREINER, Carolyn Jean "Babe" Went to be with her Lord and her husband Don on November 12, 2017. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, on August 3, 1932 the oldest daughter of Gerald and Dorthene (Kimmel) Hedgecock. She was a wife, mother, grandma and GG and she loved her family and being with them. She liked helping others, reading, garage sales and Glenn Miller music. She and Don gave their hearts to the Lord in March 1952 while going to Clifton Avenue Church of God where Rev. Asa P. Cain was Pastor. They were active there for 33 years until coming to Hillside Avenue Church of God in 1984 when Rev. George Reed was Pastor. She loved her church family and appreciated their loving support. She is survived by her daughters; Susie (Ronn) Fox and Debbie (Ken) Koelewyn of Springfield and Carol Ann (Jim) Smith of Irwin, OH, grandchildren; Chris (Tami) Fox, Terry (Marlo) Fox, Jamie (Juliann) Fox, Wendi Conley, Heather (Carl) Hellyer, Becky (John) Malone, Sarah (Brad) Husk, Rachel (Dan) Cain and Amy (Brian) Ballard, twenty three great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, a sister; June (Carl) Conner of Findley, OH, "special" aunt; Jenny Shivler, brother-in-law; Bob Greiner, sister-in-law Dorothea Greiner, nieces and nephews, very special friend; Jack Bachtell and special friends, Don and Sandy Barker and Marge Davis. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; Don, her parents, son-in-law; Gregory Hoover, sisters; Joyce Rapp and Connie McConnell. Friends and family can pay their respects on Friday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00AM Saturday in the Hillside Avenue Church of God. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
