Bim & Drew...I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news of Cathy's passing. Though it's been many years since I've been back to Centerville to visit the gang, I've always thought so fondly of Cathy. Rudy was one of my first, best and closest friends at Reynolds+Reynolds. We shared so many laughs and I'm truly sorry I've lost touch. My thoughts and prayers are certainly with you all at this very difficult time.

Bim & Drew,
I know it's been many years since I've been in touch with Cathy, (Drew, you were probably 2 years old, when I saw you last!), But, I've always considered Cathy as a life long friend. I met Cathy when we worked at Rike's, way back when, and will remember all the fun weekends we shared together. I was so saddened by the news of her passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Bim - hey it's Kim Dicken (Botto now). Mark and I just found out a few hours ago about Cathy (a guy that worked with Cathy goes to my church and she had told him we were college roommates). We are so very sorry. We've been reminiscing about all the fun we had so many years ago. Remember staying with you guys in your first apartment, going to sorority dances, your wedding....

I'm not sure how to get ahold of you - we're going to try. Love you bunches and will be praying for you as you and Drew adjust to life without Cathy here on earth.

Our hearts go out to Clay and Drew and the rest of the family. Our prayers are with you. I just wanted to let you know that Cathy and I had a great working and personal relationship in Jesus Christ. Even during her toughest days, she was there for our family when we lost our daughter, Madison. She has taught shown me that “since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us. (Romans 5: 1-5) Cathy we miss you so much. However, we do have the promise that we will see you again in God's kingdom. Love - The Blacks

Death is sure and life is so uncertain. You still have memories to comfort you, friends to sustain you, and faith to strengthen you, so you can still smile. You will be with Cathy longer than you will be without her. And we are sure that Cathy would not want to book a return journey. Stay close to God, hang onto HIM and you will be given strength and so much more. Our "Grief Clocks" may all be different, but the "Great Timekeeper" keeps those that are HIS functioning perfectly. There's a lot of ticking and tocking going on, but Wisdom reminds us it's all working in perfect precision. Even though you don't see it all now, aren't you glad you know the "Timekeeper" In Christ alone, Teddy and Velma Brewer John 16:20-23

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Cathy's vibrant presence and loving personality, amongst great challenges is how she'll be remembered by me. I was blessed to have worked with her, if only for a short time. Thank you.
