Charles HUBER Obituary

HUBER, Jr., Charles H. (01/22/1953-08/11/2018), known by most as Chip, was born and raised in Dayton, OH (where he managed to walk up hill in the snow, to and from school daily) later moving to Sarasota, FL to raise a family of his own. Survivors include wife, Vicki; son Trae; daughter Genni Swalley of Charleston, SC; sisters Christie Huber-Proctor of Lakeland, and Cheryl Huber-Ohmer of Dayton, Ohio; and stepmother Terry Huber of Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Huber; mother, Virginia Volz; and stepfather, Donald Volz. He was an incredibly supportive son to his mother, husband to his wife, and father to his children. He was also a businessman who developed land with his father for Huber Homes, formed a mortgage company, and finally excelled in the glass industry where he worked diligently the rest of his time here on earth. He shared love and joy with everyone he knew, and now he is watching over us with a smoke and glass of wine nearby. A gathering will be held Saturday from 2-4PM with a service at 4PM at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 40 N. Orange Av., Sarasota, FL 34236.
