Dr. Johnson was our family doctor for many many years. He diagnosed my father's lung cancer and due to that, my father lived 20 years longer. He had the fast gowing cell type. Dr. Johnson was a true pioneer and medical genius. They DO NOT make them like that anymore. Man how i miss him. I am sure that he is in heaven entertaining and going off. LOL

I am so thankful for Dr. Johnson. He found the enlarged heart that my three year old son had, and this was missed by all the Doctors at Childrens. I took my baby to him for a pyshical for child care when this was found. Today my baby is 36 years old, had a heart transplant at the age of 19, I have two grandchildren from this son. I am so thankful for Dr. Johnson. He delivered this son and also my younger sister and brother. When I was a little girl Dr. Johnson came
to the house to treat my poison ivy. So many good things to say about Dr. Johnson.

My sympathy on the loss of your beloved, Dr. Charlie Johnson. I worked with him in the Labor & Delivery Department at the old St. Elizabeth Hospital many years ago.
This was a brilliant diagnostician who knew and loved his patients. He now rests.

To the Family of Dr. Charles S. Johnson, Jr.

Dr. Johnson was the family physician for the Joseph Hargrove family in Dayton, Ohio for many, many decades. We could ALWAYS count on Dr. Johnson to care for our medical needs, but more than that, he would listen to our personal concerns and give us his best advice to help us with our everyday concerns. The Hargrove family was honored and proud to called Dr. Johnson "A TRUE FRIEND" and a caring physician. He, indeed, was one of God's chosen vessels for the time he was with us. He will be deeply missed...

God bless and keep you...

To the Johnson Family,

I am so sorry for the loss of your love one. Dr.Johnson was my doctor for a long time when I was young. I remember a time when I was sick and Doc came to my parents home at 3:00 AM. My parents had called the office and he told them he would come to see me after office hours. I asked him what was wrong with me following his examination and he said he did not know but take this medicine.Whatever the medicine was, it made me feel better. I still chuckle when I think about it.

I pray that God will comfort your family during this time. Please accept my heart felt condolences. Thank you for sharing Doc with all of his patients.

God Bless,
Saundra Kendrick Thurman

I would like to give my condolences to the family of the late Dr. Charles S. Johnson. He was a family doctor of ours for years. The families I'm speaking of are the Parks' and Clay's. I was born in May 1958 and was in doctor Johnson's office in June 1958, I peeked at my chart one day while waiting for him to see me. He also diagnosed my now 32 year old niece when she was only 6 months old and had been misdiagnosed numerous times. My mom said, bring that baby over here & let me take her down to doctor Johnson's office. Our family will greatly miss this wonderful, caring doctor and our prayers will be with the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Johnson Family. Dr. Johnson was my doctor literally from the beginning. He brought me into this world. He cared for me from that day until I moved out of state and sometimes even after that time. I will never forget those 3 a.m. house calls to stop a cough or other illness. He was a physian and family friend in every since of the word. He will be truly missed.
