We were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Chris' passing. Despite the fact that Chris was the dreaded "auditor" ("dreaded" because he was SO good at his job!), we here at Covercraft Industries both enjoyed our relationship and admired his spirit. He and our staff had many a lively conversation on a broad variety of topics and we were disappointed when it was time for Chris to rotate off our audit schedule. We had just recently heard about his planned Appalachian Trail hike and were very excited for him.

All of us at Covercraft send out our most sincere prayers to Chris' family and those who worked so closely with him at Eagle.

I first met Chris when he was 15. I watched him grow up and play football and fall in love with Bev. He deeply loved his family. He gave a lot to everyone he knew. I am very saddened by his death. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Aunt Bev, Libby, Brad and Bry: My deep heartfelt love to you. I loved my "babo" uncle Chris. He was someone who was so loving. I always looked up to him. I know the pain you are feeling and can only imagine how hard it is as the death was a complete shock. I am so sorry we could not make it to the service. We wanted to be with the family so bad and to send our respect. It was so hard to find 4 seats available with Springbreak time in Florida. And being pregnant, driving was not an option unfortunately. I have the best memories growing up and having uncle Babo as my uncle. I still remember how uncle Babo was there and road in the ambulance with my mom when she fell ill. The only peace I find in this is that he is with my mother now. And grandma and grandpa. I love you all so much!! Love, Amy

I was very saddened by the news. I haven't seen Chris for a few years but Chris worked with us at DESC and later as a consultant. He was always so cheerful and fun-loving and such a pleasure to be around. We will miss seeing him on occasion and our thoughts and prayers are with Bev and the kids.

I enjoyed working with Chris at DESC in Kettering, Ohio. He was always happy and upbeat, told some really stupid jokes and was his own laugh track! He will be missed.

Quite a shock to hear of Chris's
death. I grew up with the Shillito family; his sister Marcia
was a great friend. Haven't seen anyone in at least 38 years; but
always read about Chris in our
Julienne/Chaminade news. Please
accept my condolences, and a
special hello to his brother and
sisters.
