Clyde Edward MALLORY Sr.

MALLORY, Sr., Clyde Edward 81 of Dayton passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018. Born June 3, 1937 in Fairfield, AL. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Eunice Mallory. Clyde leaves a legacy of 7 children: Deidre Portis Russell (Tyron), Maurice Taylor (Della) of AL; Shirl Mallory-Bolds (Nehemiah) & Tara Mallory of TX, Vernon Mallory, Clyde Mallory Jr., Curtis Mallory (Keslee) of OH. Clyde worked at Butts Market in Alabama. Upon his move to Ohio, he worked at McCalls (Dayton Press) for 20 years and Wright State for 5 1/2 years before retiring. He accepted Christ at a young age and recommitted his life to Christ at Home Avenue Church of God (New Vision) where he remained until he was called home. Clyde loved the Lord and his family. Clyde was a smooth dancer and a scheming card player. Clyde leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; special nephew Brian "Butch" Mallory, brother Carl Iland (Virginia), caretaker Kim Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
