Constance Brenneman

1921 - 2017

BRENNEMAN, Constance A. 95, of New Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, in VanCrest of New Carlisle. She was born on August 10, 1921, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Spencer and Bertha (Booth) Sharp. She was a bookkeeper throughout her life working for New Carlisle Federal Savings Bank and Robbins Myers Credit Union. She enjoyed cards, going on walks, was a wonderful cook and was known for her sugar cookies and noodles. The joy of Connie's life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Steve Gordon of Enon, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Barbara Brenneman of Troy, four grandchildren: Todd (Bonnie) Gordon, Trent (Deborah) Gordon, Sarah (Mike) Crosby and Jeffrey Brenneman; four great grandchildren: Megan, Leah, Noelle and Kate Crosby; one sister, Wanda Tucker of Springfield, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Warren R. Brenneman in 1968, and 13 brothers and sisters. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Tad Hobert officiating. Burial will be in the New Carlisle Cemetery.
